Both are semi-permanent, both are drawn onto your face and approved before any pigment touches skin, and both take about three hours. The difference is the finish. Here is how to think about which one is yours.

Nano brows are drawn with a single-needle digital machine, one hair-like stroke at a time, following the direction your real brow hair grows. The needle sits shallower in the skin than a microblade, so there is less trauma, gentler healing and strokes that stay crisp instead of blurring. Nano combo adds a whisper of soft shading behind the strokes for fullness where you need it.

Ombré brows are shaded with a machine using thousands of tiny pigment dots, light and airy at the front of the brow and gradually more defined through the arch and tail. The result is a soft, filled-in finish you can dial from barely-there to bold. Because the pigment is laid as shading rather than lines, it holds beautifully on oily skin and fades evenly over time.

Semi-permanent brows are not rushed. Here is how the first session runs, and why the touch-up six to eight weeks later is part of the treatment rather than an extra.
Read pre-care & aftercareWe talk through the look you want, your skin type and your routine, then measure and pre-draw your shape to your bone structure. You approve the outline in the mirror before anything else happens.
Pigment is blended to your hair colour, skin undertone and how much definition you want, so the healed brow reads as yours rather than as a tattoo.
A topical numbing cream keeps you comfortable while the strokes or shading are built up in light layers. Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation.
Brows look darker and bolder for the first week, then soften to their true tone by week four. Your touch-up at six to eight weeks fills any light spots and locks in the result.

Common questions
Short answers to the things clients ask before a first brow appointment. Anything else, just ask.
A topical numbing cream is applied before we start and topped up during the session. Most clients feel light pressure or a scratching sensation rather than pain, and plenty relax enough to close their eyes for most of it.
If you have brow hair to blend into and want the most natural, hair-by-hair finish, nano. If you fill your brows in every day, have oily or combination skin, or want a soft powdered look that lasts longer, ombré. Nano combo sits between the two and suits most first-timers. Not sure? Ask us.
Nano brows typically last 1.5 to 3 years and ombré powder brows 2 to 4 years. Oily skin, sun exposure and exfoliating skincare all speed up fading. A colour refresh every 12 to 24 months keeps them crisp.
Skin keeps roughly 70 to 80 percent of the pigment after the first session, and everyone heals a little differently. The touch-up at six to eight weeks evens out light spots, adjusts colour and sets the final shape. It is the second half of the treatment, not a repair.
Most healthy adults are. We cannot treat you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have used Accutane in the last year, take blood thinners, or have an active skin condition around the brows. If you have had Botox, filler or a brow tint recently we will ask you to wait. See the full pre-care list.
